As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our projects forward, ensuring their successful completion, and inspiring our team to reach new heights. We are seeking a motivated and inspirational leader who can effectively manage multiple projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver outstanding outcomes.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various projects within our organization. You will work closely with stakeholders, team members, and external partners to ensure project objectives are met on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your ability to inspire and motivate your team will be key to achieving project success.

Working as a Project Manager as part of a mission critical enterprise system implementation team, you will be responsible for the execution and completion of the day-to-day project tasks. You will serve as the primary point of contact for the client’s Project Manager. You will:

  • Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project management best practices.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Review and monitor the Work Plan tasks, deliverables, and milestones to confirm that the project is on schedule
  • Direct the completion of project tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints
  • Serve as a key contributor in preparing and reviewing project deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Establish a Project Management Plans and Communication Plans
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Inspire and motivate team members to achieve project goals, recognizing and celebrating their contributions.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned.
  • Interface with client daily and collaborate with project stakeholders, including stakeholders, from other related projects
  • Develop performance metrics and benchmarks
  • Administer communication between the team members and project stakeholders, including:
    • Reporting key metrics, milestones, and policies and procedures
    • Working with the State’s Project Team to facilitate proper communication
    • Communicating with stakeholders to streamline communication
    • Confirming that dashboard reporting is provided to stakeholders
    • Managing communications channels to deliver messages effectively
  • Establish and maintain controls to monitor budget and cost projections, resource allocations, and time reporting
  • Provide timely completion of all First Data deliverables and work products

What You Will Need:

  • Minimum of SIX (6) years of relevant experience
  • Minimum Degree required: Bachelor's
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to provide guidance and direction for specific projects or sub-tasks
  • Capability to manage multi-task projects
  • Experience analyzing and defining system requirements
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and present topics to diverse groups of functional and technical staff
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Ability to anticipate and respond to management and client needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff within an organization
  • Proficiency in all MS Office tools


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Project Management certification preferred

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
