Bridgenext is seeking a talented and experienced SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our team in Latin America.  You will collaborate with engineering teams to write develop automated test cases and perform manual testing to ensure our applications can address those industry problems. This may include developing and/or improving existing processes and procedures, collaborating on test strategy documents, identifying issues and creating and reviewing reports. You will be working in CST business hours.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Write and maintain functional and non-functional test plans

• Write and maintain automation tests in Cypress and Jest for your domain

• Continue to improve our test strategy, procedures, and processes to ensure quality, performance and scalability of the system

• Troubleshoot quality issues, reviewing testing results and modifying test procedures when necessary

• Analyze test results and work with engineering team to resolve issues

• Perform regression tests and smoke tests in our environments

• Break down product requirements into testable chunks and effectively communicate (both written and verbally) product intent to stakeholders

• Be incredibly curious and unafraid to express your curiosity

Workplace: Remote, Latin America

Must Have Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in the SDET role

• 3+ years of experience writing JavaScript

• Experience working with Jest, and / or Cypress

• Practical experience turning user scenarios into test cases

• Possess a fondness for breaking things

• Practical experience writing and executing test plans, reporting results, and trouble-shooting issues

• Quick problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail

• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently
