Job description

Beekeeper is looking for a passionate, self-driven individual who wants to be a part of something big. As an Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for generating, cultivating, and closing new business opportunities. Are you personable and consultative; comfortable and effective in collaborating with cross-functional teams (like Sales Development, Marketing, Customer Success Engineering, and Sales Leadership) as well as with Customers?  We seek out people who have excellent interpersonal and technical skills, as well as a proven track record with sales cycle management.

Your Responsibilities
  • Generate and develop a healthy funnel of qualified B2B opportunities
  • Identify and qualify leads using various prospecting methods, such as cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations for prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and value of the SaaS solution.
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop relationships with important stakeholders
  • Support the development and optimization of our sales strategies
  • Collaborate with Sales Development, Customer Success Engineering, Marketing, Sales Leadership, and other internal teams
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with prospects, ensuring that terms and conditions are favorable to both the customer and the company.
  • Take responsibility for the achievement of quantitative and qualitative goals 
  • Occasional travel
What we are looking for
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant quota carrying SaaS sales experience, with a strong history of over-attainment
  • Self-sourced 50% + of your pipeline and Closed-Won
  • Strong sense of curiosity with a positive attitude and passion for learning and helping others
  • Self-motivated to exceed goals and desire to constantly learn
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Enthusiastic and passionate
  • The courage and creativity to find new ways of generating business
  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Experience with platforms like Google Suite, Salesforce, sales engagement (Outreach, Salesoft), and sales intelligence solutions (6Sense, DemandBase).

*For Colorado residents: The OTE range for this position’s level is between $135,000 and $144,000 with 50/50 split. 

*For New York and California residents: The OTE range for this position’s level is between $140,000 and $170,000 with 50/50 split.

Our total compensation consists of base salary (depending on education, experience, knowledge, skills, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data), stock options plus several additional benefit coverage including learning and development fund, Home Office Set-up reimbursement and the rest of the benefits you can see here.
