Agile Project Manager Principal
Overview:
Our company is a leading mortgage servicing, SaaS-based financial technology company that values innovation and excellence. We are seeking a highly experienced professional for the role of Principal Agile Project Manager within our dynamic Project Management department. This position plays a pivotal role in planning, monitoring, and managing internal projects utilizing Scrum Master techniques in an Agile environment.
Your day-to-day at Sagent:
Project Management Leadership:
· Lead and guide project teams throughout the project life cycle, ensuring successful delivery.
· Apply Scrum Master techniques and Agile methodologies for effective project management.
Agile Coaching:
· Coach and mentor teams on Scrum/Agile principles, emphasizing iterative/continuous development, self-organization, and code refactoring.
· Ensure teams adhere to Scrum/Agile principles for successful project delivery.
Facilitation and Empowerment:
· Utilize advanced facilitation skills to empower cross-functional teams for optimal performance.
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and adaptability.
Stakeholder Communication:
· Effectively communicate project progress, challenges, and milestones to stakeholders.
· Collaborate with internal teams to align project objectives with organizational goals.
Risk Management:
· Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful project outcomes.
· Proactively address impediments and challenges, utilizing problem-solving skills.
Documentation and Reporting:
· Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring accurate records of plans, issues, and resolutions.
· Generate regular reports for project status updates.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
· Completion of a four-year college degree +10 years of experience in an applicable field or completion of an advanced degree (masters or higher) in an applicable and relevant field +5 years of related experience in an applicable field, or experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
· Extensive experience in project management, particularly in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
· Experience in running a Program, particularly involving mixed development methodologies (Scrum, Waterfall, etc.)
· In-depth knowledge of Agile principles, iterative development, and continuous improvement.
· Exceptional facilitation and coaching skills, promoting collaboration and self-organization.
· Strong communication skills for conveying complex information to diverse stakeholders.
· Leadership capabilities, fostering high-performance teams and a culture of continuous improvement.
· Advanced risk management expertise and ability to navigate challenges with resilience.
· Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate project documentation.
