Power Platform Engineer - #34189

As a Power Platform Engineer, you will build custom business applications using Power Apps canvas and model-driven, develop, optimise and document automated workflows with Power Automate, and create interactive dashboards and data visualisations with Power BI. You will also seamlessly integrate Power Platform solutions with Dynamics 365, Office 365, SharePoint, and other enterprise systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Design & Development:

• Build custom business applications using Power Apps (canvas and model-driven)
• Develop, optimise and document automated workflows with Power Automate
• Create interactive dashboards and data visualisations with Power BI
• Building data pipelines from Dynamics 365 & external sources into Power BI for real-time analytics

Integration:

• Seamlessly integrate Power Platform solutions with Dynamics 365, Office 365, SharePoint, and other enterprise systems
• Leverage Microsoft Dataverse and Graph API to connect various data sources
• Experience in leveraging Azure Logic Apps to design and implement integration workflows that orchestrate data flows between Microsoft platforms and third-party apps
• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and error handling to ensure these business-critical integrations are reliable and performant
• Ensure all integration solutions adhere to stringent security standards and GDPR requirements, with appropriate encryption and access controls
• Develop and maintain custom connectors to accommodate systems that lack pre-built integrations, continuously optimising them as external APIs evolve

Collaboration & Innovation:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Participate in agile development processes, contributing to planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Document existing automation processes

Support & Maintenance:

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing Power Platform applications
• Document solutions and maintain best practices

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience working with Microsoft Power Platform
• Proven track record in designing and deploying solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
• Strong understanding of Microsoft’s ecosystem, including Dynamics 365, Office 365, and SharePoint integrations
• Experience with JSON, REST, Azure Active Directory, and Security & Compliance
• Familiar with data modelling, integration techniques, and API-based communications

Advantageous skills or nice-to-haves:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Science, Engineering or related
• Certifications in PL-900: Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals, PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer, PL-500: Microsoft Power Automate RPA Developer, PL-100: Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate
• Azure Logic Apps
