Position Title:  Sales Manager, Water Filtration

location: Remote

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Filtration and Advanced Materials Sales Team, as a Sales Manager within our Water Filtration market segment. The Sales Manager is accountable for sales activities of Gessner customers.

 

responsibilities:

 

Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 

  • Follows all company established methods, policies, rules, practices, and procedures to ensure employee safety, product quality and efficient operations.
  • Manages regular contact and visits to build and maintain great relationships with key stakeholders at several customers to develop profitable business.
  • Works alongside Product Management group and financial teams to determine customer needs, market pricing, and creative incentive packages.
  • Finds trends and uses data to build sales forecasts and budgets to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Directs product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from product lines.
  • Prepares regular sales report showing sales volume, opportunities, and areas of potential expansion. Delivers sales presentations to key clients; negotiates and closes deals.
  • Assists in product research and development by finding and delivering the voice of the customer.
  • Coordinates liaison between sales department and other units within company.
  • Works alongside several global plants to ensure great service and quality are maintained.
  • Represents company at trade shows and conferences to network and promote company and brand.
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition

Required Education & Skillsets:

 

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university;
  • 3-5 years sales or technical service experience in given market segment (filtration) and/or nonwovens products
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
