The Senior Database Developer will perform advanced analysis and development work involving all aspects of supporting, improving, and enhancing and optimizing the database performance for a large project.
This position requires strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL experience, along with extensive experience in performance tuning of stored procs and views.
The developer will also devise approaches to solving complex problems, provide thought leadership, and provide ongoing updates on project status.
This position works for section of IT-SEDS (Information Technology – Statewide Education Data System).
Work assignments follow a defined software development life cycle (SDLC) process using an Agile-like approach for completing code changes for defined releases.
This role works across multiple agency stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and efficacy of created reports, in the service of school districts.
