About the Role:

As a Data Quality Analyst supporting our Federal government client, you will be trusted to execute data entry and quality assurance checks, with a keen eye for detail, consistency, and timeliness. The Data Quality Analyst will contribute to the client’s success by updating current systems and implementing new standard operating procedures. This role is a key part of the team working to modernize the client’s systems. 

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

  • Assist in the migration of taxonomy terms and rules from legacy to new systems.
  • Support the adoption and implementation of new software or systems, ensuring seamless integration
  • Maintain and update taxonomy structures.
  • Apply taxonomy terms to products and ensure accurate metadata creation.
  • Edit and expand taxonomy as needed, ensuring changes are reflected in all systems.
  • Notify staff about inconsistencies or errors in taxonomy terms.
  • Taxonomy development 
  • Metadata management

Location:

You will work as part of a dynamic team primarily remotely.

Required Experience/Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1 - 5 years of professional experience in IT quality assurance testing
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and part as a team working towards a common goal
  • Quality Assurance and Control; Experience in unit, system, integration and automation testing
  • Data validation and reporting tools (such as Adobe Suite)
  • Experience with QA activities related to system migrations and software updates
  • US citizenship and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Automation testing tools - AI/ML tools

Salary:

Approximate Salary Estimate: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 annually
