The Leadership Development (LD) Consultant plays a crucial role in shaping the leadership capabilities within Intermountain Health. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating leadership development programs, courses, assessments and personalized consultations that align with the organization's strategic goals. This role involves working closely with leaders at all levels to enhance their skills, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and drive organizational success.The following states are currently paused for sourcing new candidates or for new relocation requests from current caregivers: California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington

The Leadership Development Consultant works to provide learning opportunities and subject matter expertise during the design and development of leadership learning-related projects. This position consults with colleagues during the design planning phase to develop solutions to meet leaders’ needs.
The Consultant works with leaders and colleagues to develop leadership learning solutions aligned with organizational goals, containing actionable objectives with effective, adult learning modality solutions and measurable outcomes, planning for resource requirements and implementation timelines. Is responsible for the development of needs assessment tools and program evaluation tools (Kirkpatrick Levels 1 and 2) for learning opportunities.
The Consultant works with teams, HRBPs and other NOEs enterprise-wide to diagnose and collaborate on team and/or leader engagement solutions. This consultant may perform basic level organizational development work to improve team collaboration and work processes.
The Consultant leads large enterprise-wide projects affecting a variety of service lines. This position is responsible for project management from inception to completion of the project.
The Consultant builds relationships with leaders and colleagues enterprise-wide to deliver learning opportunities and/or routine organizational development solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
· Experience in the planning and development of leadership development learning opportunities enterprise-wide.
· Demonstrated experience in building collaborative relationships and influence across a large, matrixed organization.
· Demonstrated consumer service orientation.
· Experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written, interpersonal, and collaborative communication/relationship building skills.
· Demonstrated experience in effective project management skills, a basic understanding of adult learning design with limited supervision and assistance from other more experienced consultants within the Center for Learning and Transformation. Learning Center of Excellence
· Prior experience with the design, facilitation and execution of Leadership Development Programs
· Prior experience with Leadership Development Consultant services
· Prior experience with instructional design and facilitation of leadership development courses.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Leadership and Organizational Development, HR, Communications, Education or related business field. Education must be obtained through an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
· Prior experience in design and development of leadership development learning opportunities.
· Prior experience in project management.
· Prior experience in routine organizational development.
· Certifications in executive coaching, and assessment tools such as Tilt, DiSC, etc.
Physical Requirements:
Interact with others requiring employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information.
