The FP&A Analyst will play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic initiatives. This individual will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to provide insights into financial performance, optimize operational efficiency, and enhance financial decision-making.

 

What a day in life of looks like: 

  • Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Performing monthly and quarterly financial analysis, variance analysis, and reporting to provide actionable insights.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models to support strategic planning, revenue and cost forecasting, and operational performance evaluation.
  • Collaborating with department heads to track key financial and operational KPIs.
  • Preparing presentations and reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Assisting in cash flow analysis, scenario planning, and investment evaluations.
  • Supporting ad hoc financial projects, process improvements, and system enhancements.

 

This is a remote based role within the UK. Working pattern is Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.  

What you bring to the team: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, preferably in a mid-sized SaaS or services company.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling, Excel, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with financial planning software tools (e.g. Oracle EPM) and ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite).
  • Familiarity and prior experience working with SaaS and services financial metrics and business model.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
