Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is responsible for the in-field activation of programs and processes for their assigned region. This person will be responsible for the communication, execution and performance tracking of key PDSN initiatives to drive Pella’s go-to-market models. This person will have a high degree of involvement and communication across all functions and levels in the corporation as well as heavily integrated into sales leadership relationships. Monitors results of training to ensure learning effectiveness and tracks participation and behavior changes so that performance improvements are realized and maintained. Supports the PDSN Regional Business Manager by acting as a business consultant for the PDSN branches in their region.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following, but other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for the implementation of programs, tools, new products, and sales processes for the PDSN that drive sustainable growth through Pella’s go-to-market segment strategies.
- Works with the PDSN account management team to develop course material for learning, coordinates logistics and scheduling, and training programs. Recommends training methods, timing and content with the goal of driving training effectiveness.
- Operates with a segment agnostic lens and is responsible for gathering regional intelligence including regional competitors and market challenges.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management across the PDSN, other channel partners, and within Corporate.
- Accountable for reviewing HLPs and tracking KPIs, further identifying trends in metrics to brief RBM on under/over performance.
- Responsible to answer branch questions and/or elevate to RBM as necessary
- Responsible for partnering with Segment Selling Process Managers to influence Sales Managers within regions to ensure PDSN playbook accountability
- 25%-50% travel required

Education And/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Direct Sales experience desired but not required.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Computer Skills
Microsoft Office Suite – (Word, Excel, Power Point), CRM (Salesforce experience prefered), Proprietary Sales Systems.
