Motion is growing fast (3x YoY), our product is sticky and we recently raised $30M in Series B funding. We doubled our customers as well as our headcount in 2024, and have just under 60 team members.

But we’re just getting started and we need your help!

We’ve built a new category of software to bridge the gap between performance marketers and creative teams. Our platform combines creative analytics, research, and strategy. Motion is the command center for Creative Strategists.

Our customers are top ecom and DTC brands like Vuori, True Classic, The Farmer’s Dog, HexClad, and thousands more. They’ve used Motion to analyze over $13B in media spend.

The Performance Creative Solutions Consultant will live on our customer success team and will be key in providing the best guidance to our customers on their creative strategy.

We just launched Expert Agents (AI-enabled workflows designed by the world’s best creative strategists), and we’d love for you to help us interview more experts as well as customers, so we can continue creating these workflows.

What You'll Do 🧠

In this role, you will work with Motion customers and join calls with creative strategists and experts to understand their needs, challenges, and processes. You’ll analyze user behavior, evaluate feedback, and iterate designs to optimize the AI’s performance and usability. You’ll develop, test, and refine prompt chains that provide actionable insights and streamline creative workflows.

You’ll work at the intersection of technology, user behavior, and creative strategy, designing prompt chains and workflows that feel intuitive, insightful, and human-like.

Consult brands on how to improve their creative strategy processes.

  • Lead discovery calls to understand their process and assess gaps + opportunities.
  • Consult on opportunities and provide resources and tips based on where they are having issues.
    • For example, you might give them ideas on optimizing their creative testing strategy, adjusting naming, better understanding the targets they are trying to reach, etc.
  • Clients will find you a wealth of knowledge and perspective helping them navigate building an effective creative strategy to scale their paid social efforts.
Collaborate

  • Partner with product, engineering, and design teams to ensure the conversational flows align with Motion’s broader goals and values.
  • Develop internal resources to help the team leverage AI capabilities and foster a shared understanding of conversational best practices.

Workarounds & Technical Troubleshooting

  • Help clients find effective workarounds to achieve their goals. Your understanding of their strategy/approach, plus expert knowledge of Motion will allow you to find creative solutions.
  • As new products are released, like flexible ads on Meta, you’ll be an expert source of information for our product and dev teams to understand how we should think about integrating them into our product effectively.

Build resources.

  • Use your expertise to build new resources that help solve client’s pain points. Collaborate with our content team to bring them to life. These resources tend to be MVPs for product to take and integrate into the app.
    • Examples: Briefing templates, naming convention generators, creative testing output calculators.
Be the internal expert on paid media and creative strategy.

  • Product: Help shape what Motion becomes. Identify key gaps in the current platform and work closely with our product team to provide insight as they build new features.
  • Marketing: Positioning and messaging is at the heart of our content. Your expert perspective will allow our team to tap into the true value of a feature and frame it in a way that resonates with prospects and customers.
  • Sales & CS: Be a resource for our AEs and CSMs to get expert opinions on questions and guide their talk tracks. You’ll help with new feature rollouts so AEs and CSMs position them in the most effective way.

  • Top 1% Creative Strategist. You love telling stories with data and know the ins and outs of running ads on Meta and Tiktok (YouTube is a plus!!)
  • Extremely curious and resourceful. You ask the right questions to find the right problem. You push yourself to constantly improve the status quo and find new ways to approach problems.
  • Passionate about creative strategy and want to be a part of setting the standard for how teams approach it. You have strong opinions about the best methodologies for creative strategy, and know how to adapt them based on circumstances.
  • Solving problems and delighting customers motivates you. You love to help people and share what you know! No gatekeeping here :)
  • Ability to deeply understand the needs of Creative Strategists and align AI interactions with Motion’s mission.
  • Strong writing skills to craft succinct, user-friendly dialogues and an ability to clearly explain technical concepts.
  • Curiosity and rigor in studying user behavior, with the ability to translate insights into impactful designs.
  • Comfortable working across teams and thriving in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
  • You live in North America
