What You Can Expect
The Manager Global Compliance Operations will oversee and manage the cross-functional Policy Committee meetings, focus on policy simplification, support policy submissions, retention, rollout and translations. Additionally, the position will oversee the policy exceptions process, analyze trends, and propose updates to policy documents as needed. Responsibilities also include facilitating and coordinating the execution of the Compliance Training and Communication Action Plan, and supporting training content development as needed. The role will support compliance benchmarking and program assessments on an ongoing basis and ensure that compliance operations data on the company intranet is kept up to date and easily accessible.
This position reports to the Director of Global Compliance Operations and offers flexibility to work from any location.
How You'll Create Impact
Manage the policy governance process by leading cross-functional policy committee meetings, monitoring policy submissions, providing support to policy owners on how to submit policies to the committee, and managing the policy retention and control system, as well as the rollout, publication and translations of policies.
Promote and drive efforts for policy simplification to ensure policies are clear, easily understood, and straightforward to implement and follow.
Oversee the policy exceptions process by supervising and coordinating policy exceptions, analyzing exceptions to identify trends, visualizing them in dashboards and regular reporting as well as proposing updates to compliance policies.
Ensure all Compliance Operations-related data points on the company intranet, specifically related to policy documents, are kept up to date and are easily accessible.
Work closely with Corporate Communications and Regional Compliance Offices to follow up and coordinate the execution of Compliance Trainings and Communications.
Support Compliance benchmarking activities and assessments of the Compliance Program.
Support Compliance training content development and the annual training needs assessment.
Contribute to a data-driven compliance function by leveraging artificial intelligence, data analytics, and technology to enhance compliance processes and decision-making.

Your Background
Educational Background: Holds a Bachelor of Law or Economics degree or an equivalent qualification/experience in Legal, Compliance, Audit or related fields.
Professional Experience: Brings at least 5-6 years of relevant work experience in Legal, Compliance, Audit, Document Control or related areas, or has consultancy experience within the MedTech sector or in related healthcare industries (e.g., pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or other life sciences).
Technical Skills: Possesses advanced to expert proficiency in working with basic Microsoft 365 applications such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word to analyze data and produce reports. Advanced proficiency using PowerBI or similar data visualization and analytics tools (Tableau, Smartsheet etc.).
English: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Additional languages are considered an advantage.
