How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced LLM models and algorithms to analyze and interpret complex textual and multimodal data.
  • Explore and prototype state-of-the-art LLMOps techniques to improve query-response performance.
  • Employ techniques in data curation and unstructured data synthesis to drive overall response quality.
  • Help develop and maintain domain-specific GenAI benchmarks. Conduct A/B testing, drift analysis, and other experimentation to optimize overall solution’s performance.
  • Optimize GenAI processing pipelines for performance, scalability, and resource efficiency.
  • Document, prepare and present findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Skills And Experience

Your skills and experience

You have:

  • Master's degree or equivalent (PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Previous Nokia intern or co-op with experience in AI/ML research including data cleansing, featurization, model tuning and evaluation.
  • Experience with LLM engineering stack such as vLLM, TGI/TEI, LiteLLM, Ollama, gguf, ggml.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and NLP libraries (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, HuggingFace).
  • Experience with big data frameworks and technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Cassandra a plus.
  • Familiarity with GPU usage, containerization, orchestration and cloud technologies.
