The Project Manager for McKesson’s Precision Care Companion will support the implementation and execution of the program's initiatives, ensuring the timely delivery and achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs). The role requires strong leadership skills to manage cross-functional and cross-business teams to drive the successful integration of biomarker testing and therapy adherence within selected oncology practices. This position will involve managing timelines, budgets, stakeholder communications, and project deliverables to ensure the successful launch and management of the Precision Care Companion Program, contributing to the advancement of precision medicine in oncology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports across functions, businesses, and varying levels of leadership.
  • Plan and direct project schedules, milestones, and due dates, and manage the project budget.
  • Oversee project workstreams through delivery, ensuring alignment with the goals of the Precision Care Companion program.
  • Lead project meetings and ensure clear communication of project deliverables and timelines.
  • Collaborate with consortium members, enrolled practices, and vendors to implement and maintain project components.
  • Monitor project progress, assess issues, and develop resolutions to meet project objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between McKesson business units who are actively or anticipated to be involved in the Precision Care Companion program.
  • Develop and execute communications and change management strategies for the program.
  • Ensure adherence to privacy and security regulations related to patient data management.
  • Track program KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for program improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • 7 + years of project management experience in healthcare or related industry.
  • Experience with large-scale program implementation and cross-functional / cross-business team leadership.
  • Familiarity with oncology and precision medicine is a plus.
  • Project Management certification (PMP) / Six Sigma certification preferred.

Additional Skills

  • Proven experience leading high-impact projects and initiatives.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite and project management tools.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and navigate an unstructured, hybrid environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Understanding of healthcare industry regulations and compliance standards.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$100,100 - $166,900
