About the role

CapIntel is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to shape the architecture, scalability, and performance of our platform. You’ll drive technical strategy and work across the stack to build high-quality, scalable solutions. Collaborating with designers, product managers, and developers, you’ll ensure a seamless, high-performing user experience while aligning development with business goals. Your expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies will be critical to the platform’s long-term success. What you'll do

Architect and develop scalable web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Express.js, and Node.js.
Optimize performance and infrastructure through caching strategies, lazy loading, and efficient database queries.
Foster technical growth and best practices among the team.
Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG) and seamless frontend-backend integration.
Conduct thorough code reviews and implement comprehensive testing strategies (Jest, Cypress, etc.).
Collaborate cross-functionally to align development with business and product goals.
Continuously refine workflows by evaluating and implementing emerging technologies.

Qualifications

Several years of professional experience as a full-stack developer, with expertise in both frontend and backend technologies.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, specifically React and Node.js.
Experience working with the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express, ReactJS, Node.js).
Deep understanding of backend architecture, API design, and enterprise-level integrations.
Proven ability to mentor other developers and lead technical initiatives.
Experience in writing comprehensive unit tests, ensuring the reliability and integrity of applications.
Strong communication skills in explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus experience

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda).
Expertise in diagnosing and solving complex performance and system issues.
