Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional looking for an exciting opportunity? We are seeking a dynamic Diary Administrator for a 6-month fixed-term contract. As a crucial member of our team, you will ensure the seamless scheduling and coordination of assessments, liaising with key stakeholders both internally and externally.

You will manage an appointment inbox and oversee all created appointments, contributing significantly to the overall success of our organization. By planning assessments effectively, you will help reduce disruptions and enhance service delivery. Job Description

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work with the Team Leaders to agree and organise schedules for assessors ensuring
  • assessments are efficiently planned.
  • Monitor and adjust schedules to accommodate changes, cancellations or urgent requests when
  • required.
  • To manage the day to day monitoring of the diary, engaging with the DSA Ops to ensure bookings
  • are correct & flagging any system generated impacts/errors for immediate correction to cease
  • customer impacts
  • Liaise with Team Leaders, Assessors and Students to coordinate assessment dates and logistics
  • Act as the first point of contact for scheduling related inquiries
  • Maintain up-to-date records of appointments and assessment schedule
  • Provide reports on scheduling efficiency assessor availability and workload distribution

  • Highly organised and detail oriented: you will have the ability to manage complex schedules ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Excellent communicator you will be able to liaise professionally with assessors, students and internal team’s taking ownership of handling inquiries and resolving scheduling conflict
  • Proactive and solution focused: you will take initiative to address challenges foresee scheduling issues and implement efficient solutions
  • Adaptable and resilient you will have the ability to remain calm under pressure while handling last minute changes
  • IT Skills you will be proficient in scheduling outlook calendar CRM and comfortable working with digital platforms

About DSA

Disabled Students’ Allowance is a non-means-tested financial support for students in higher education. It covers the study-related costs students may have because of a mental health condition, long-term illness or other disability. Support could include specialist technology, equipment and training. It can also be used to pay for non-medical help, such as specialist mentoring or specialist study skills support, and travel.

We’ll take claimants through the process, from carrying out their study needs assessment and recommending support, to delivering equipment and providing training. Our specially trained assessors will carry out a professional assessment, making it clear what they can expect from us and what they will need to do in return.

We provide support for Student Finance England (SFE) and Student Finance Wales (SFW) students in Wales, the Midlands, London, the East of England and Northern Ireland.
