Our client is a financial technology company serving asset managers, insurances, pension funds and wealth managers.

Job Description

This is a part-time role with 50% of involvement for the initial 3-5 months with possible extension. The main responsibility is to analyse a larger integration project (external data sources are replaced by an internal developemnt to go live in autumn), propose a testing strategy (manual & automation) and then guide a mid-level QA Engineer in execution.

This strategic project involves migrating from a third-party data provider to a new in-house solution currently under development. We are seeking an individual to collaborate closely with the product manager and owner to establish a robust testing strategy, working with the business to have solid acceptance criteria and ensuring the new datasets are highly accurate.

It is crucial to develop a reliable method for comparing and validating the accuracy of both old and new datasets, considering that new figures may reflect optimizations and thus differ from previous ones.

Additionally, given the significant volume of data points, the testing strategy must include systematic checks to manage the high data volume effectively in coordination with our Automation Testing team.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst
Solid experience as a manual and automation QA
Previous experience in building strategies for manual and automation testing processes
Ability to define problems and formulate implementable solutions and strategies
Understanding of software development and testing processes
Proactive and strong communication skills
Excellent English level - written and spoken.
