Job description

Position Overview: The Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for conducting geotechnical investigations, analyzing soil and foundation conditions, and providing engineering solutions for large-scale civil infrastructure projects, including high-rise buildings, bridges, infrastructure developments, and deep excavations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical design, construction support, and site analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform geotechnical site investigations and analyze subsurface conditions.
  • Develop geotechnical engineering solutions for high-rise buildings, bridges, and infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct stability analyses for deep excavations and foundation systems.
  • Prepare technical reports, design recommendations, and geotechnical assessments.
  • Collaborate with civil and structural engineers to integrate geotechnical solutions into overall project designs.
  • Oversee field testing, soil sampling, and laboratory testing programs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Provide on-site support during construction phases, addressing geotechnical challenges as they arise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in geotechnical engineering with a focus on high-rise, bridges, infrastructure, and excavation projects.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, L-Pile, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and slope stability.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and client interaction.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one is preferred.
