Job description

At Evenbound, we exist to empower our clients and our team members to reach their full potential as we create and grow end-to-end solutions on HubSpot. We are a growth marketing agency, specializing in HubSpot, digital transformation, and marketing strategy. We commonly execute HubSpot implementations & onboardings, website projects and Team as a Service retainers for our clients. Our team is growing, and we are looking for our Program Manager to take us to the next level.

Is that you?

Why Our Team Needs You

Our company vision will take us to hold a commanding position in the HubSpot Partner program and to sit at the top of the value chain offering Growth Strategy, RevOps, Marketing Ops, WebOps, Custom Development, and Integrations. We need you because you will own how we do this. As a distinct leader in our team-as-a-service offering, both our internal team members and our clients will rely on you to be a strategic and technical expert and advisor.

What You’ll Do

As Evenbound’s Program Manager, you’ll be a strategic people leader that can build, develop, and empower a productive and engaged cross-functional team. A good portion of your time will be spent coaching and enabling your team. You will also be responsible for finding and providing learning + development opportunities and will lead by example what it means to exemplify our Core Values and Vision.

A typical day may involve internal meetings and working in delivery tools like ClickUp and HubSpot to keep client projects and deliverables organized and accounted for. You’ll run meetings, guide and develop your team, plan resources and budgets, manage time tracking accountability, build out and improve processes, and provide technical expertise. You can look at a client’s business strategy and develop the plan for how Evenbound will deliver on it. You will oversee designing and delegating actionable work to be completed on a delivery schedule by your team. Your Other Half will be your Account Strategist, and together, you will deliver best in class experiences and outcomes, as well as continuous improvement opportunities, to help your clients realize and reach their full potential.

What You’ve Done

You likely come from a project management background, or at least have extensive experience managing multiple, complex projects. To say you’re organized and detail oriented is an understatement.

Ideally, you have had experience working in a consultancy environment specific to HubSpot. Additionally, you know how to be a true partner to your colleagues and can work in a very close, professional relationship with others on a daily basis. You know how to articulate strategy and direction clearly, collaborate, brainstorm, consider multiple perspectives, and work with different communication styles.

You’ve had experience as a people manager and love leading and developing others. You are able to create a highly productive, positive work environment amongst team members and know how to coach individuals and groups. You are a true advocate for your team and will vigorously protect their time and resources.

In addition to the above, you’ve likely got experience in or can demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to deliver short-term wins while also building long-term value - this role requires a balance of being able to zoom in and out to execute a program plan to its fullest.
  • Trafficking and managing projects in the following marketing tactics: design projects, content development, paid search, paid social, email marketing, SEO optimization, HubSpot optimization, etc.
  • Creating project scopes based on client priorities and account strategist inputs
  • Experience in a client-facing role presenting and talking through project-related timelines, work-back schedules, and scopes of work
  • Familiarity with managing project-related freelancers and ensuring vendor quotes align with project budgets
  • Impeccable communication skills, including the ability to articulate the fine art of saying ‘no’
  • Familiarity with the ideas and concepts behind lean methodology as a way to optimize teams and resources to create value for our clients
  • Ability to utilize a project management and time tracking tool, such as ClickUp (our platform of choice here) to drive resource allocation
  • Simultaneously manage projects and 8-16 client accounts, collaborating with 1-2 account strategists

Our Core Values

Our Core Values determine how we show up and interact with each other and our clients. We act with integrity, strategy, and authenticity in everything we do. We take our work - but not ourselves - seriously, and we value being able to laugh and connect with one another.

  • Technical expertise.
  • Strategic thinking.
  • Exceptional communication.
  • Start fast. Learn fast.
  • Win and grow as a team.

Benefits and Perks:

  • Health + Dental Insurance
  • Bonus Program
  • Flexible work time
  • PTO: 18 Vacation Days, 16 Paid Holidays + your birthday off!
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Company-paid short term disability
  • Voluntary long-term disability + life insurance
  • Work where you want, when you want. At Evenbound, we believe we work best when we set our own productive schedules. That flexibility extends to where we work, too. While we have an office right in downtown Grand Haven that we love (there's a coffee shop right downstairs!), our team works remotely most of the time. There's no weekly "in the office" quota to meet — we work to get work done, however that works for you
  • Regular team meet-ups. Since the Evenbound team is primarily remote, we work hard to schedule team meet-up opportunities every few months. From camping to ski trips to industry conferences, we believe that hanging out in person makes our team stronger, helping to build real relationships in a virtual world

Our Tech Stack

We don’t expect everyone to have experience with the technology that we use, but if you do, we certainly want to know about it. Here is a basic list of technologies we use:

  • HubSpot
  • ClickUp
  • PandaDoc
  • G Suite
  • Google Drive
  • Google Ads
  • Google Analytics
  • Slack

Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, + Belonging

Evenbound’s mission - our reason for existing - is to empower our clients + team members to reach their full potential. To us, that means every single person on and engaging with our team has the right to feel they belong in an inclusive, equitable, and diverse work experience.

We’re committed to learning and growing. This Core Value of ours speaks to the fact we acknowledge there’s a lot of space to learn, grow, and support the areas of DEIB, both now and in the future. We understand the responsibility we have to elevate underrepresented voices, to take an active role in promoting equity and belonging, and to always seek opportunities to create more inclusive ways for all individuals to be able to show up authentically just as they are.
