The RTX BBN Finance Team is seeking a highly motivated professional to join the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) group.  The RTX BBN Finance team is a diverse group of individuals with a robust mix of skills and experiences collaborating across the organization to influence optimal business decisions and achieve predictable results.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the preparation and submission of BBN’s annual Incurred Cost Proposal (detailed reports/schedules on the company’s actual direct and indirect costs for the fiscal year).
  • Support audit activities and information requests with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), and other government representatives to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and contractual requirements.
  • Assist with preparation and submission of BBN’s Forward Pricing Rate Proposal and Provisional Billing Rate Requests.
  • Support Contract Closeout process through interaction with Billing, Closeout, Contract, Program Finance, and Supply Chain staff.
  • Assist with preparation and submission of BBN’s CAS Disclosure Statement (description of cost accounting practices).
  • Support periodic labor accounting and expense analysis reviews.
  • Coordinate budgeting activities for a group of indirect cost centers, in coordination with department managers, as part of the annual Budget process.
  • Help define financial system requirements in support of our Business Applications team.
  • Support ad hoc analysis and requests, as required.
  • No travel requirements are anticipated for this role.

  • In this role, you will have opportunities to interface with the BBN’s Finance Leadership Team, along with Billing, Contracts, Operations, Program, and Supply Chain staff.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting and 2+ Years of related finance work experience
  • Excellent writing, communication, and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to function well in a team based environment
  • Computer software skills including MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to access US only data systems

Qualifications We Prefer - Familiar with all, Expert in some:

  • Financial systems - SAP / APEX, Rplan, Power BI
  • Knowledge of or experience in a defense contracting environment
  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) cost principles, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
