Job Summary

This position will provide compliance support to the business via responding to compliance inquiries, conducting due diligence, and assessing business practices. Additionally, this role will assist with intradepartmental compliance and technology initiatives, including drafting educational content, to improve compliance efficiencies and effectiveness. This role will interact with other business leaders and help drive Compliance initiatives across various teams.

Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist in the identification, analysis, communication and resolution of compliance issues for assigned areas.
  • Serve as the team’s technology resource: navigate new systems/technology usage, maintain team intranet resources, assist with digitization and process optimization projects
  • Assist in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures and educational material.
  • Work with internal and external partners on compliance and business initiatives.
  • Participate in compliance projects and serve as backup to other functions as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • Background in the insurance industry or compliance-related position preferred
  • Experience with insurance/securities advertising review requirements preferred
  • Skill in using computer applications including MS Office

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with ability to communicate well to both senior management and sales professionals.
  • Ability to build business partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Ability to prioritize work appropriately to ensure we focus our resources on the highest-risk matters.
  • Develop and expand on industry knowledge through various learning opportunities.
