Your specific duties will include:
Completing assigned bank account reconciliations accurately, thoroughly, and in compliance with corporate policies.
Performing monthly audits of investor collection and escrow accounts.
Researching and reviewing accounts, transactions, or processes selected for audit.
Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records for reporting purposes, ensuring data integrity.
Identifying variances and working with other departments to resolve issues while adhering to compliance guidelines.
Performing special projects and additional tasks as assigned.
Using MS Excel and SQL to maintain detailed audit records.
Identifying operational risks and escalating issues to management as needed.
Acting as the primary liaison between Mortgage Operations, Accounting, and Treasury Operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all Investor Reporting and Accounting activities.
Specific qualifications for the position include:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of work experience with GNMA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac custodial account reconciliations.
Extensive knowledge of GNMA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac bank reconciliation guidelines and requirements.
Experience with LSDU/Servicing Gateway (Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac systems).
Amortization, sales, and acquisition settlement experience.
Experience with Blackline (preferred).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel (required) and basic knowledge of SQL.
Pay Rate Range: $67.96 per hour
