Job Description

About the Role:


Lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative engineering solutions, ensuring they meet operational, quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing equipment, processes, and systems to enhance performance and reliability.

Provide technical leadership and collaborate across functions to ensure successful project delivery and knowledge transfer.


Key Responsibilities may include:

  • Lead the full lifecycle of engineering projects, from concept development and design to commissioning and operational handoff, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and operational objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to global safety standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA), risk assessments, and regulatory requirements during the design, installation, and operational phases of projects.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization, focusing on reliability, maintainability, and productivity to reduce downtime and improve system performance.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on engineering best practices, troubleshooting issues, and mentoring junior engineers to foster technical growth and innovation.
  • Partner with Operations, IT, Safety, and other stakeholders to align project objectives, address technical challenges, and drive seamless integration across functions.
  • Oversee supplier and contractor activities, ensuring adherence to standards, timelines, and budget constraints during project execution.
  • Develop training materials and upskill teams on new technologies, systems, and best practices, ensuring proper documentation and operational handoff.
  • System Integration & Interoperability – Develop robust middleware solutions and standardized communication protocols to ensure seamless data exchange and integration across diverse automation systems.
  • Future-Forward Automation Design – Engineer adaptable automation solutions that can scale with evolving technology, fluctuating demand, and increasing throughput requirements.
  • Predictive Maintenance & Downtime Reduction – Leverage predictive maintenance algorithms and real-time condition monitoring to proactively identify potential failures, minimizing downtime and optimizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Data-Driven Optimization & AI Integration – Support the development of cloud-based data analytics platforms utilizing AI/ML models to enhance operational efficiency, track performance metrics, and enable autonomous decision-making.
