Position Description:

We are looking for a talented and experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team in Argentina.

 

This is a position ideal for individuals with some experience in IT support. As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's IT systems and will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and assisting with the maintenance and administration of our IT infrastructure. 
You will work alongside a dedicated team to ensure the efficiency and reliability of our IT systems, addressing technical issues promptly and effectively to minimize downtime and disruption.  This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT support and develop your skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment. 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure continuous operation of the Bridgenext Nearshore Delivery Center facility by providing front-line support for all technical issues  
  • Support the MIS team in remote debugging of technical issues
  • Work with internal and external partners to resolve workflow and procedural issues 
  • Work on ad hoc projects and other tasks within the realm of production engineering and QC 
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT best practices and procedures
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets and equipment 

 

Must Have Skills:

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English with a high-level of proficiency in each is required 
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote desktop support tools is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft O365 suite and basic user administration 
  • Experience with group and user management
  • Experience building laptops for deployment to the workforce 
  • Experience with office networking equipment setup and maintenance 
  • Understanding of file and directory permissions in a shared storage environment  
  • Ability to document workflows and standard operating procedures for the engineering and  
    production staff  
  • Understanding of 1 or more operating systems: Apple OS X, Microsoft Windows, and Ubuntu Operating Systems
  • Proficient with the concepts of networking and IP addressing
  • Willing and able to work a flexible work schedule in support of a 24x7 operation, including weekends and overtime on short notice 
  • Experience with Enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems, such as Microsoft Intune MDM 
  • Strong technical background and problem-solving skills 
  • High self-motivation that will allow for the continual growth of core competencies 

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Cisco Meraki hardware preferred
