Company Overview:

Our client is a performance marketing agency focused on mission-driven organizations, particularly in higher education. Since 2020, they have helped universities and educational institutions improve their outreach through data-driven marketing, digital advertising, and creative content. Their team partners with colleges to develop campaigns that drive enrollment and engagement.

As a Creative Project Manager, you will plan and oversee the execution of creative campaigns and assets, ensuring projects run smoothly from kickoff to delivery. You’ll coordinate schedules, set and track deadlines, and serve as the go-to point of contact for cross-functional teams. This role is perfect for a professional with at least two years of experience managing creative projects in a marketing or agency environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Create & Maintain Project Timelines
Develop and adjust project schedules in platforms like Asana, prioritizing tasks and milestones across multiple campaigns.

  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams
Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and marketing strategists to assign tasks, monitor progress, and resolve potential roadblocks.

  • Manage Workload & Resources
Assess team capacity, redistribute tasks when necessary, and ensure the right resources are in place to meet project objectives.

  • Track & Report Progress
Identify at-risk tasks using project tracking reports, escalate issues promptly, and keep stakeholders updated on project status.

  • Optimize Processes
Spot inefficiencies in the workflow, recommend improvements, and implement best practices to enhance creative operations.

  • Facilitate Communication
Serve as the main touchpoint for internal teams, providing clear, regular status updates and ensuring deadlines are met.

What Makes You a Good Fit
  • 2+ Years of Creative/Marketing Project Management Experience
Ideally within an agency environment handling design, copywriting, or marketing projects.

  • Proficiency in PM Tools
Hands-on experience with Asana (or similar tools like Monday.com, Wrike, or Trello).

  • Exceptional Organizational & Time-Management Skills
Able to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of detail.

  • Strong Communication Abilities
Comfortable following up with team members, clarifying expectations, and presenting updates to leadership.

  • Working Knowledge of Creative Processes
Understanding how design and content development fit into larger marketing campaigns.

  • Problem-Solving Mindset
Able to identify bottlenecks early and propose solutions to keep projects on track.

Bonus Points
  • Experience using reporting tools or analyzing data for performance tracking.
  • Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies.
  • Previous collaboration with mission-driven, nonprofit, or education-focused clients.

What You’ll Get
  • Competitive Compensation
