NurseCore is seeking skilled part-time wound care visit nurses to provide expert wound care management. In this role, you'll deliver personalized care in the comfort of patients' homes, ensuring optimal healing and comfort through thorough wound assessment, effective treatment, and patient education.
What you'll do:
Assess wounds, track healing progress, and adjust care plans as needed
Perform wound treatments, including dressing changes, and infection prevention
Take and record vital signs to monitor patient stability and overall health
Educate patients and caregivers on wound care techniques, infection prevention, and overall skin health
Identify and report any signs of infection or complications
All other duties as assigned
What it takes:
Active RN or LPN license in Nevada
1+ years of wound care experience (home health, long-term care, or hospital setting)
Strong understanding of wound healing, advanced dressing techniques, and infection control
Current hands-on CPR certification
Negative TB/PPD or Chest X-ray (within the last 12 mos), or Quantiferon (within the last 5 yrs)
Successful completion of background check.
