Job Description Summary:

Ideal Remote Location: Dallas, TX & Austin TX

The Warehouse Distributor Sales Manager manages the business relationship with assigned Distributor Customers as well as develops and implements the Annual Business Plan. This Sales Manager also acts as a system-wide expert on strategy, business systems, and operating philosophy of these assigned customers, and serves as a brand advocate for our Nutrition product portfolio which includes brands like Simply, Minute Maid, Honest and Fairlife.  

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities (Top 5-8 Core Responsibilities) 

  • Accountable for the annual business plan results and promotional activities to deliver volume, revenue, profit, and strategic partnership commitments made to all stakeholders during business planning and execution.  

  • Responsible for forecasting and managing to a budget.  Must effectively manage trade spend budget to deliver plan at assigned customers within brand pricing and promo strategies.  Responsible/Owner of Rolling Estimate volume, revenue, and gross profit forecast for assigned customers, including monthly routine with finance, commercial leadership, and Acosta.   

  • Manages communication with the internal, broker, and customer networks to ensure constant application of strategies as outlined in the Annual Business Plan and flawless execution of programs.  

  • Aligns system resources to implement promotional  programs according to plan, schedule, and budget.  

  • Responsible for problem solving operational or executional issues with customers or broker.  

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related background required.   

Related Work Experience:    

  • 2 to 5 Years work experience in a sales support or sales functional area.   

  • 2 to 5 years sales related packaged goods experience on a national or regional level.   

  • Broker management experience would be beneficial, warehouse RTM experience and customer management experience. 

  • Business development planning experience.  

  • Proven ability to manage needs and concerns of multiple stakeholders across various business systems.  

  • Strong communication skills to maintain customer and internal relationships.

Pay Range:

$103,000 - $121,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
