Senior Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for providing support to junior accountants, assisting the Chief Accountant with VAT and SAF-T reporting, and handling more complex accounting tasks. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and support to junior accountants in their daily tasks.

• Assist the Chief Accountant with VAT reporting WHT reporting and SAF-T reporting.

• Review and verify the trial balance (TB) monthly.

• Book accruals and handle complex accounting entries.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

• Prepare financial reports and statements as required.

• Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of SUN is a plus

• Proficiency in English language

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
