This position is full-time and remote in India.

We are looking for a dynamic, high-energy, and entrepreneurial sales leader to take full ownership of driving the adoption of SkillUp across APAC. This is a one-person team role, meaning you will be responsible for everything from prospecting and closing deals to building partnerships and ensuring customer success. You will work very closely with the founders, senior leadership and the team that’s building SkillUp.

This role demands resilience, creativity, and extreme ownership. You will be the face of SkillUp in the market, working closely with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to drive revenue and product adoption.

What you will do:
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle – from prospecting to closing and account expansion.
  • Drive outbound motion – identify, target, and engage companies that need SkillUp’s upskilling and assessment solutions.
  • Build and refine the GTM strategy – work closely with leadership to define positioning, pricing, and messaging.
  • Educate and evangelize – help customers understand how SkillUp can help them scale technical skill-building and assessments.
  • Close deals and deliver revenue – execute with urgency and focus on high-velocity sales to grow the business.
  • Develop strong relationships – work with key decision-makers in HR, L&D, and technical leadership across industries.
  • Be the voice of the customer – provide feedback to the product team to influence roadmap and enhancements.
  • Work autonomously but collaborate cross-functionally – with marketing, product, and customer success teams.

You will also bring:
  • 5-10 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS, HRTech, or EdTech.
  • Spent time being successful at an early stage startup.
  • Taken a B2B product from 0 to 1 and want to do this again since its the only thing you enjoy.
  • Proven track record of hunting and closing new business.
  • Experience selling to HR, L&D, and technical leadership is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable operating independently.
  • Ability to adapt and iterate based on market feedback.
