POSITION TITLE: Senior Product Manager
POSITION LOCATION: San Carlos, CA, Austin, TX, or Remote, USA
Position Summary
As a key member of the digital product management group, you will be leading the strategic vision and execution of the provider experience, across all business units.
In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for defining and driving the roadmap planning, implementation and delivery of complex features to support core capabilities and cross-functional projects. By partnering with other product and technical teams, you will identify new needs, build technical alignment and build a solid platform foundation and scalable system.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, deep understanding of user-centered design principles and be able to navigate a fast paced environment while demonstrating strong analytical and technical skills.
Primary Responsibilities
Craft and execute a comprehensive strategy for the provider portal, aligning with business objectives across all units.
Create and maintain a roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements that enhance the provider experience.
Partner with the engineering team, product managers, architects and other stakeholders to ensure cross-alignment and successful delivery of product initiatives.
Drive projects from inception and discovery to delivery and post-launch support
Manage the backlog of requests and features and prioritize it accordingly
Accountable for high quality, solid documentation of functional and technical requirements, KPIs, success metrics
Participate / Facilitate scrum ceremonies and help define technical solutions with on-shore and off-shore scrum teams
Analyze relevant data to drive decision-making and inform future roadmaps
Establish key processes to increase team velocity
Partner with QA teams to align on quality benchmarks
Qualifications
Bachelors in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of experience in product management
Validated experience in the development of robust product requirement documentation for highly performing applications or backend systems
Experience working in an agile development environment
Prior experience leading and influencing remote engineering teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to work and influence cross functional teams; effective at building rapport with key stakeholders
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Flexible, and agile; willingness to tackle any type of challenge; highly motivated to roll up sleeves and get work done while also thinking strategically
