As we scale and diversify our product offerings, we are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Senior Director of Solution Engineering to shape and lead our solutions strategy while actively engaging with customers as a trusted solution consultant.
This role:
The Senior Director of Solution Engineering is a strategic yet hands-on leadership role, crucial to Aiwyn's transition into a multi-product platform. This role serves as the critical connective tissue between Product Managers, Sales, and Post-Sales functions (Onboarding/Implementation, Customer Success, etc.), ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment across teams.
This is not just a strategic leadership position—you will also roll up your sleeves and actively engage with customers as a trusted solution consultant, guiding them through pre-sales, onboarding, and post-sales processes. Your ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution will be pivotal in driving customer success and influencing product innovation.
What You'll Impact:Hands-On Customer Engagement and Solution Consulting:Actively engage with customers as a senior solution consultant, understanding their unique business challenges and mapping Aiwyn’s multi-product platform to their needs.Lead complex pre-sales engagements, including tailored product demonstrations, solution design workshops, and technical deep-dives, to effectively communicate the value of Aiwyn’s solutions.Collaborate with Sales to craft customized solutions and proposals, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with customer goals.Serve as a trusted advisor to strategic accounts, guiding them through implementation best practices and influencing their product adoption journey.Provide direct customer feedback to Product and Engineering teams to inform roadmap decisions and feature enhancements.
Strategic Leadership and Vision
Develop and execute the solution engineering strategy to support Aiwyn’s evolution into a multi-product platform, driving customer engagement and growth.Establish a unified solutions framework that bridges Product, Sales, and Post-Sales functions, ensuring cohesive customer experiences.Drive a customer-centric culture by advocating for client needs and influencing product roadmaps and feature development.
Pre-Sales Enablement and Alignment
Design and implement pre-sales strategies that effectively communicate the value of Aiwyn's multi-product platform, driving customer acquisition and retention.Collaborate closely with Sales leadership to align solutions engineering activities with sales objectives, optimizing pipeline conversion rates.
Product Collaboration and Innovation
Partner with Product Managers/GMs to translate customer insights into actionable product enhancements, influencing product strategy and development.Champion a culture of innovation by identifying opportunities for new solutions and driving cross-functional initiatives for platform growth.
Post-Sales Success and Customer Value Realization
Collaborate with Onboarding, Implementation, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless customer transitions from sales to post-sales stages.Monitor and analyze customer satisfaction metrics, proactively addressing challenges to ensure customer success and retention.
Team Leadership and Development
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Solution Engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.Promote cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that Solution Engineers, Sales, and Customer Success teams work in harmony to achieve business goals.What You'll Bring From Past Experience:Experience: Minimum of 10 years in Solution Engineering, Pre-Sales, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity within a SaaS environment.Hands-On Approach: Proven ability to engage directly with customers as a solution consultant, delivering technical presentations, workshops, and strategic guidance.Leadership Excellence: Strong track record of building and leading high-performing teams, driving cross-functional collaboration, and inspiring innovation.Experience working in a multi-product SaaS environment, preferably in B2B SaaS.Background in technical architecture, integrations, and cloud-based SaaS solutions is a plus.Benefits and Perks:The big-picture value proposition of this role is simple: join us, and you'll be paid competitively to have freedom in solving worthwhile, challenging problems alongside other A-players at a fast growing SaaS startup led by an experienced and successful co-founding team with industry experience.
