Job Title :-Conservation Account Manager (HVAC)
Location:- GTA Area (Remote)
Duration:- 6+ Months Contract (With Possibility of extension)


We are seeking a Conservation Account Manager (CAM) with technical expertise in air conditioning (AC) systems to spearhead efforts in promoting participation in the Commerial CoolSaver program within York Region. The Commercial CoolSaver program offers facilities with free AC tune-up services as well as instant discounts on HVAC equipment to improve the energy efficiency of their HVAC systems to reduce electricity consumption and energy costs in grid constrained areas.

  • Develop Outreach Strategies: Create and implement outreach plans to engage trade allies and homeowners, with tailored messaging and materials for both audiences.
  • Trade our financial client Outreach: Engage AC technicians, sales professionals, and manufacturers to encourage program participation and provide technical training on energy-efficient upgrades.
  • Drive Program Participation: Collaborate with participants and contractors to boost program involvement.
  • Assess Applications: Evaluate energy efficiency projects, request missing information to resolve submission issues.
  • Workshops & Presentations: Organize sessions to educate commercial participants and trade allies about the program and upgrades.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate community events, trade shows, and industry conferences to promote the program.
  • Data Collection & Reporting: Track outreach activities, participant interactions, and program enrollments; generate reports for effectiveness and improvement.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work with utility companies, contractors, and industry groups to streamline processes and ensure compliance.
In this exciting career opportunity, you will have...
  • 3 or 4-year technical degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in outreach, participant engagement, and trade our financial client development, preferably in the HVAC industry.
  • Technical knowledge of air conditioning (AC) systems and energy-efficient cooling technologies.
  • P.Eng, B.Eng, B.Sc., CEM, CET designations are preferred
  • Strong influence and negotiation skills
  • Passionate about energy efficiency with a focus on technology solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to drive energy savings and achieve or exceed energy savings targets.
  • Access to transportation for local travel may be required.
