Job Description: Social Media Manager


Scope

  • Flexible, 20 hours a week
  • Remote work with primary communication via email
  • Collaborate closely with business owners to understand and reflect company values and goals
  • Contribute to the overall digital marketing strategy of the company

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with Hardison Homes’ rebranding efforts
  • Create engaging, high-quality content for various social media platforms
  • Manage and schedule regular posts across all social media accounts
  • Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with business owners to gather content ideas and align with overall marketing goals
  • Respond to social media inquiries and engage with the audience in a timely manner
  • Track and report on social media performance metrics

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the home improvement or construction industry (APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT PORTFOLIOS)
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create visually appealing content using graphic design tools
  • Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Familiarity with the residential remodeling and roofing industry is a plus
