Salary Range: $120,000 - $145,000 annually
Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors. The salary range is not necessarily reflective of the actual total compensation that may be earned nor promises any specific pay for any specific employee. Salary range excludes monetary value of benefits.
The primary function of this role is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Successfully lead project execution including initial project set up, development of project management plan and job safety analysis and project kick-off meeting
- Consistently monitor project scope, schedule, budget and staffing to ensure adherence to project plan
- Responsible for budget management including continuous tracking, and communication of budget status to manager and clients
- Ensure updates to the project budget are consistently maintained in company software
- Responsible for project billing; weekly client status updates; ensuring QA/QC is performed on all deliverables; and project close out
- Accurately and independently prepare project proposals within company guidelines and federal, state, and local regulations
- Act as Proposal Manager and key client contact, overseeing all steps of the proposal process, and working with the Sector Director to respond to RFQ’s/RFPs and solicitations for consultant services
- Provide clear direction, motivation, and mentorship to team members.
- Successfully navigate and implement complex public processes and municipal approvals
- Maintain an active understanding of the area marketplace including knowledge of key potential projects beneficial to Fisher
- Proactively contact potential clients on project leads and market Fisher’s services.
- Actively assist with implementation of the quarterly marketing plan and participate in quarterly business development meetings
- Represent the firm through active involvement in professional societies, participation on local business boards and community service
- Coordinate with other sectors and service lines as necessary to fulfill project needs
- Maintain a working knowledge of computer design software to assure efficient interface with the project teams
- Readily take on other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 10+ minimum years of engineering and project management experience, experience in Energy sector preferred.
- Professional Engineering License (PE) or ability to obtain it.
- Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, MS Office programs preferred.
- Client relationship and business development experience preferred.
