  • Participate in sales meetings and assist in the preparation and delivery of sales materials and promotional programs.

Job description

 

The Sales Representative is responsible for managing his/her book of business.  The Marketing Representative identifies, contacts and closes prospective clients, and services existing accounts, ensuring quality and consistency of service and/or product delivery.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

New Business Development

  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and project number of contacts to be made.
  • Follow up on leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact them to begin the sales process.
  • Strategize and execute tactics to attract unique audiences to events.
  • Prepare for and attend/staff exhibits, conferences, meetings and other local, regional and national promotions and events.
  • Effectively establish and maintain relationships with prospective clients.

Account Management

  • Create account plans to identify actions, special service instructions for each client and communicate them to Scheduling.
  • Develop and execute account-level sales plans.
  • Manage the client relationship; act as liaison between the client and internal staff to ensure timely, accurate communication.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns.

Administration

  • Routinely meet with VP of Sales and Marketing with updates on achievements/challenges, industry information and feedback gathered through field activity.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings via telephone – break down accounts, strategize actions.
  • Assist in the preparation, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits and promotion programs.
  • Complete expense reports timely and accurately.
  • Complete and submit the Integrity Sales Goals booklet for touch base meetings and yearly planning meeting..
  • Maintain an acceptable attendance record.
  • Assist in Provider relationships

Education and Experience:

Bachelor of Arts degree and at least three (3) years of experience in account management and sales, preferably in the insurance, legal or healthcare industry.

  • Thorough knowledge of the industry;
  • Drive to identify and/or follow up on sales leads and referrals and bring them to successful closure.
  • Ability to think creatively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and contact management software.
  • Strong knowledge of each client’s service requirements.

Certification, License, and Registration:

Valid driver’s license
