The Filtration Sales Specialist is responsible for performance management (order & sales) of filtration business, development and execution of strategies & action plans for more business opportunities and supporting products and technology of filtration consumables and accessories. And the sales specialist is also responsible for providing spec-win activities for filtration products (depth filter, sterile filter, virus filter & TFF etc.).

This position will be responsible for management for overall growth & performance of filtration business as one among the most important market with resin in downstream processing industry.

This position reports to the RFM sales specialist & FAS team leader and is part of the department of Bioprocess & will be fully remote.

What you will do:

  • Accountable for performance and results of filtration business related to filter consumables including filters, housings, connectors, and filling sets.
  • Responsible for order & sales of filtration consumables for all accounts, development and execution of strategies & action plan to generate order, and submission of forecasting based on order & sales.
  • Primarily focus on filtration consumables opportunities and supports all filtration products by providing information & knowledge in sales process with product expertise to the AM as well as independently identifying opportunities.
  • Provide high level product & technical expertise during pre-sales activities, demonstration, customer training, post-sales support, seminar & presentation, and promotional events. 
  • Provide spec-win activities supporting technology, knowledge & experience for use of more filtration products on overall downstream processing of customers.
  • Develop the sales of modality solutions in the assigned sales region/territory, establishing long lasting technical customer relationships.
  • Lead technical & product related discussions with customer and give applicative support including troubleshooting and answer customer queries of sophisticated technical and applicative nature.
  • Continuously develop a network of key decision makers. Build a territory business plan and set quarterly priorities to achieve defined business goals. Contribute to key account plans managed by the Account Management team. 
  • Build a strong internal network to drive maximum synergy and customer satisfaction across the business. Work effectively with internal functions, including other sales specialists, the account management team, marketing, finance, legal, service sales and customer service.

Who you are:

  • Master's degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biotechnology with at least 5+ years field experiences in Bioprocess product management & application and research & development.
  • Preferred protein separation & purification experiences with filtration technology of small or large scale
  • Strong filtration principle & technical knowledge
  • Proven ability to work globally and to influence and negotiate internally & with customers
  • Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment, Multilingual (English & Korean)
