Job description

Join Intellect’s team as a Financial Coach, where you’ll lead and deliver personalized financial coaching to clients, helping them achieve their financial goals through engaging, impactful sessions. In this full-time role, you will own the Financial Coaching Pillar within Intellect, overseeing both the quality of coaching and continuous improvements to the user experience. As the primary steward of all existing and new standard operating procedures (SOPs) for financial coaching services, you’ll ensure consistently high standards of care and effective client outcomes.

As the main point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders in the Financial Coaching Pillar, you will work closely with Operations, Product, and other teams to refine and elevate our users’ financial journeys. Through periodic reviews and active feedback integration, you’ll play a key role in shaping both the experience and quality of financial coaching.

Responsibilities

Leadership in the Financial Coaching Pillar: Own all aspects of the financial coaching pillar, from SOP development to quality standards, ensuring that services consistently meet client needs and company objectives.

Financial Coaching (50% of work hours): Deliver impactful, one-on-one coaching sessions through video, messaging, and interactive workshops that guide clients toward sustainable financial well-being.

Content Development & Delivery: Design and conduct workshops, seminars, and webinars tailored for both individual and corporate clients to foster financial literacy and engagement.

Quality Assurance and Governance: Create SOPs and ensure compliance by building a governance framework and audit schedules to continually enhance service quality. Periodically review the user journey to implement improvements.

Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for internal teams like Operations and Product, as well as for corporate clients and other external stakeholders, fostering strong partnerships that support holistic client care.

Collaboration & Improvement: Partner with cross-functional teams to advance user journey improvements and elevate the quality of financial coaching services, ensuring a seamless, positive client experience.

Engagement of Network Providers: Proactively engage with network providers to be the point of contact and support for them, encouraging collaboration of ideas and best practices.

Requirements

Experience: 3-5 years as a Financial Coaching or in a related role, with at least 2 years in a corporate or administrative environment.

Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), or equivalent certification.

Skills:

  • Strong communication skills: written and verbal, with the ability to create and conduct training modules.
  • Client-Centered Approach: Ability to maintain a client-centered coaching approach.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competency in financial planning software, video conferencing tools, and relevant technology.
  • Process Builder: Experience in building processes and frameworks in a corporate environment.
  • Detail-Oriented Leader: High attention to detail and accountability in developing SOPs, conducting audits, and refining workflows.
  • Self-Motivated Team Player: Ability to work independently in a remote setting while effectively collaborating with internal teams to drive the success of the financial coaching pillar
  • Language Proficiency: High level of fluency in native language with equal level of fluency in English to facilitate effective communication across clients and teams.
