Job Overview

We are a dynamic, U.S.-based web development and marketing agency seeking a talented Web Content Manager to join our team. Success in this role means managing and maintaining up-to-date, organized, and compelling website content aligned seamlessly with our U.S. clients' needs while collaborating effortlessly with our international marketing team.

This is a part-time, remote position based in Indonesia, Monday to Friday, from 7 PM to 11 PM local time, enabling close collaboration with our U.S.-based team. You’ll handle content management tasks for medium-sized B2C clients specializing in the finance, legal, and accounting sectors. Responsibilities include editing and uploading text, images, and multimedia content while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to SEO best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Content Updates: Manage and update website content daily – including landing pages, blog posts, and service pages. Ensure that all information is current, accurate, and aligns with the client’s brand voice.
  2. Editing & Quality Assurance: Proofread and edit content for clarity, grammar, and spelling. Verify that formatting is user-friendly (headings, bullet points, etc.) and that all links, images, and videos function properly.
  3. SEO Optimization: Optimize content on the site using basic SEO practices – add meta titles/descriptions, format headings properly, include relevant keywords (guided by SEO tools like Ahrefs), and ensure fast page load times by managing media assets.
  4. Content Coordination: Work with writers, designers, and the marketing team to plan content publication schedules. Use ClickUp to track content tasks and collaborate on getting new content live on time.
  5. Analytics & Improvement: Monitor content performance using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) – watch metrics like page views, bounce rate, and engagement. Suggest or implement content improvements based on data (e.g., updating a page that has high bounce rate).
Qualifications
  • Experience: 2+ years in web content management or a similar role. Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or others is required.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong editing/proofreading skills and an eye for maintaining consistency in style and formatting across a website. You ensure nothing slips through the cracks, from typos to broken links.
  • Technical Skills: Basic HTML/CSS knowledge to make minor content/layout tweaks when necessary. Familiarity with image editing or optimizing tools is a plus.
  • SEO & Analytics Knowledge: Understand fundamental SEO principles for on-page content and know how to use or learn tools like GA4 and Google Search Console to monitor performance.
  • Communication: Good English communication (written and spoken), comfortable with American vernacular. Able to work during the specified hours and coordinate smoothly with a remote team.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with WordPress as a CMS (since many medium businesses use it) and builders or plugins commonly used for content (like Elementor, Wix, etc., if applicable).
  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools, especially ClickUp, to manage workflows and content approval processes.
  • Background or interest in the finance, legal, or accounting fields, which helps in understanding and organizing industry-specific content effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize – managing updates for multiple clients’ sites without sacrificing quality.
  • Creative mindset for content presentation – while this role is managerial, having ideas on how to present content in more engaging ways (imagery, infographics, layout suggestions) is a plus.
