What you'll do:
  • Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems for federal clients.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to build, test, and deploy AI-driven solutions.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of data pipelines and ML workflows.
  • Help integrate AI capabilities with existing federal IT systems.
  • Implement and maintain ML models in production environments.
  • Follow best practices for model monitoring, maintenance, and improvement.
  • Document technical processes and contribute to knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current with emerging AI technologies and methodologies.

    • What we'd like you to have:
  • Experience in machine learning, data science, or a related technical field.
  • Understanding of machine learning algorithms, techniques, and frameworks.
  • Experience with Python and ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or similar.
  • Knowledge of data processing and feature engineering techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for model development and deployment.
  • Understanding of ML model evaluation, testing, and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of AI ethics considerations and bias mitigation approaches.
  • Experience with version control systems and collaborative development.
  • Communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

  • You have experience with NLP, computer vision, or generative AI technologies.
  • You've worked in federal IT environments or government technology projects, and you understand data privacy and security requirements in government contexts.
  • Your knowledge of MLOps practices and tools continues to grow.
  • You may have been a DevOps Engineer in a previous life, as you have experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
