CYBER SECURITY PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

This is a remote position.

Project Description:

The client is seeking a team with expertise in cyber security operations, program & project management and health sector cyber security best practices.    Project management of the above program streams may be provided by project management resources, external project management contractors, and/or respondent project management resources, if required.  Implementation resources will be a combination of internal and external resources.

High-level project planning has occurred for initiatives that will commence immediately (vulnerability management, security awareness, network security, and endpoint security).  It is expected that the consulting team will complete ongoing implementation planning, as needed, for the portfolio of program streams and for specific program streams, where required.

Services Required:

·         Provide program & project management using approved project management processes, tools and techniques

·         Prepare overall project definition documents, program plan, work plans, and report progress via status reports and presentations on an ongoing basis, and at scheduled points in the life cycle to the Sponsor and to Senior Management Committees as required.

·         Ensure that necessary project life cycle processes are completed satisfactorily

·         Track and manage the scope of the program including, budgets, risks, issues, and resolution and correction of problems

·         Provide expert cyber security best practice knowledge during program implementation and transition to operations

·         Develop cyber security program policies and standard operating procedures.

·         Transfer knowledge and information of the cyber security program to staff for ongoing responsibilities/activities of the work

·         Identify, assess and continually manage risk, issues and project change

·         Ensure engagement close‐out & wrap‐up activities are performed & documented according to defined project standards and filed and/or stored in agreed upon file storage area (e.g. Sharepoint, shared drives, etc.)

Requirements

Specific Qualifications or Experience Required: 

·      Relevant and recent cyber security program development and management within public sector organizations is required. 

·      Healthcare sector experience is required.

·      Expert program management experience is required.
