HOW A SOFTWARE ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

•    Help design, develop, evaluate, plan, and test engineering specifications for software programs and applications
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
•    Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
•    Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
•    Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
•    Stay current with industry trends and technologies to keep our technology stack cutting-edge
•    Help develop and deliver business process improvements through technology solutions 
•    Coordinate these activities across business groups ensuring issues are prioritized, assigned, and resolved
•    Consult with business process owners to evaluate process improvement opportunities and potential technology solutions
•    Prepare and deliver written reports and presentations

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

•    Education: BS in Computer Science or relevant 
•    Years of Experience: 2+ years of related experience 
•    Required Technical Skills: 
o    Effective organizational and analytical skills with the ability to develop and manage concurrent projects
o    Proven strong communication skills to translate technical software solutions to non-technical clients
o    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Required Certifications: AWS Cloud certified associate
•    Desired Programming Tools: AWS (Lambda), Javascript, Git, C++, Java, SQL 
•    Clearance: USDA clearance  
•    Location: Remote

The likely salary range for this position is $83,429 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
