About the job:

We are seeking a passionate Software Engineer III - Full Stack Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and expansion of our Data, API and Web solutions. You will play a critical role in not only developing our solutions but also ensuring our cloud platform remains modern and responsive to the changing technology ecosystem.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Software Engineering experience in Java 11 and above environment
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, automated testing, and DevOps
• Experience with designing, building and deploying scalable, highly available systems
• Knowledge of test-driven development
• Experience working with Databases
• Hands-on experience developing cloud-based solutions using Java 11 and above, Spring Boot framework, and RESTful Web Services
• Strong understanding of SOA and API concepts
• Good knowledge and experience working with the industry standard approaches in applications security including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Spring Security framework
• Good understanding of XML and related technologies
• Hands-on experience developing webapps with Angular

Nice to have:

•        Familiarity with Amazon cloud-based services including SQS/SNS, EC2, SES, S3

•        Familiarity with DevOps, automation and configuration management using tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, and GitHub 

Responsibilities

• Implement coding and SDLC best practices and assist others through code and design reviews.
• Operate in an Agile development environment while collaborating with key stakeholders.
• Contribute to User Story writing and reviews to ensure software design tasks are accurately captured.
• Resolve technical issues as necessary, including security vulnerabilities.
• Keep abreast of new technology developments.
• Other duties as assigned.

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Illinois and Texas: $85,000-141,600 USD
