We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Support Specialist to join our team. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the sales team, ensuring smooth sales processes and exceptional customer service. Your role will involve assisting with sales inquiries, coordinating sales activities, and managing sales documentation. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced sales environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to sales inquiries and provide information about products or services.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Coordinate sales activities, including scheduling meetings and appointments.
  • Maintain and update sales databases, customer records, and sales documentation.
  • Generate sales reports, forecasts, and sales-related communications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze sales data.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, such as managing calendars, travel arrangements, and expense reports.
  • Assist in the coordination of sales events, trade shows, and customer appreciation activities.
  • Monitor and track sales orders, shipments, and deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any inquiries or concerns.
  • Stay updated with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activities.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is a plus).
  • Proven experience as a Sales Support Specialist or in a similar sales support role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a sales team.
  • Familiarity with sales processes and sales administration best practices.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and systems.
