Job description

Your Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer you will be part of our platform team, where you will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the Google Cloud Platform for our products.

You will automate deployment processes, optimize monitoring and cloud infrastructure, monitor cloud costs, and improve performance and availability. With your contribution, you will enabe the engineering teams in their software delivery lifecycle with solid tooling and expertise. With an eye on security, you make sure our internal IT processes keep running smoothly.

What Makes You Special
  • Proven track record. You have experience with modern infrastructure as code systems, such as Terraform, Polumi or Crossplane. Experience with Google Config Connector is a plus!
  • Experience with OOP languages. You are familiar with Ruby on Rails, Elixir, Javascript/Node.
  • DevOps tooling. You know your way around Kubernetes, Google Kubernetes Engine and ArgoCD.
  • Shell scripting pro. You have a solid foundation with Golang and/or Python.
  • Cloud credentials. Have worked with one or more big cloud providers, such as AWS, Azure or (ideally) Google Cloud Platform.
  • Observability mindset. You have worked with OpenTelemetry, PromQL and Grafana before.
  • Proactive attitude. Your curiosity, resourcefulness and ability to solve problems quickly and independently help drive us on.
  • Language skills. You have excellent written and spoken English.
