Job description

We are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Content Writer with experience in the IT services industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a knack for translating complex technical concepts into engaging and accessible content.

 

Responsibilities:
    • Research and write high-quality content related to IT services, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, and technical guides.
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our services and target audience.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create content that aligns with our brand voice and marketing goals.
    • Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
    • Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, Google algorithms, content management systems (CMS) and SEO tools.
    • Optimize content for SEO to improve search engine rankings and drive traffic to our website.
    • Write, edit, and proofread a wide range of content, including blog posts, website copy, landing pages, and product descriptions, ensuring it is SEO-optimized.
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the IT industry to ensure content is relevant and current.
    • Work with subject matter experts to gather information and insights for content development.
Required Skills & Qualification:
    • Proven 10+ experience as a content writer, particularly in the IT services industry.
    • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
    • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a general audience.
    • Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
    • Strong research skills and attention to detail.
    • Solid knowledge of core SEO principles (keywords and keyword variations, keyword stuffing, internal linking, etc.) and the ability to apply them to written content.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
    • Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML knowledge is a plus.
    • Having a working knowledge of WordPress is a plus.
    • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
