We are expanding our Altera Finance team and seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to optimize inventory management, ensure data accuracy, and support key financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to anticipate demand, manage stock levels, and prevent overstocking, transforming data into actionable insights.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with procurement, logistics, accounting, and production teams to ensure inventory needs are met and enhance overall operations.

  • Inventory System Management: Utilize Oracle to maintain inventory records, generate reports, and update master data, while coordinating with IT to troubleshoot system issues and implement enhancements.

  • Inventory Monitoring & Accuracy: Track, analyze, and maintain inventory levels across all locations to ensure availability and accuracy.

  • Cycle Count Coordination: Oversee regular cycle counts, analyze results, and investigate discrepancies to ensure consistency between physical inventory and system records.

  • Financial Reporting & Valuation: Work closely with the accounting team to ensure precise inventory costing and valuation for financial reporting.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to inventory processes and reporting procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

  • Reporting & Insights: Generate and distribute regular inventory reports for management, summarizing key metrics, trends, and potential risks.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or inventory management.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.

    • Proficiency in inventory accounting and financial reporting.

    • Experience with Oracle ERP for inventory management (preferred).

    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization).

  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across multiple geographies and time zones.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
