Position Overview
As a Mid-Market Account Executive, you will play a key role in expanding our presence in the eCommerce and Retail sector, specifically within mid-market commercial accounts. At Quid, the sales team is the engine that drives our global consumer reach, and we’re seeking a results-driven Account Executive who can fuel this growth. Your primary responsibility will be to develop new customer relationships and drive revenue growth within the mid-market eCommerce segment. The ideal candidate has experience managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting to close—and understands the unique challenges and needs of mid-sized eCommerce businesses. You should be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong negotiation skills, and has a track record of exceeding sales targets.
Role Objectives
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow our mid-market eCommerce customer base.
Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within mid-market commercial accounts.
Represent Quid’s offerings with a deep understanding of how our solutions address the needs of eCommerce clients.
Meet and exceed sales quotas by effectively managing the sales pipeline and closing deals.
Research eCommerce industry trends and align sales strategies with customer needs.
Deliver tailored sales presentations that speak to the pain points and priorities of eCommerce clients, including category managers, digital merchandising leads, and commercial eCommerce leaders.
Leverage data and insights to make informed decisions on sales opportunities and forecast pipeline success.
Continuously improve sales techniques and strategies to optimize results.
Requirements
3-7 years of quota-carrying new business sales experience in SaaS or technology solutions.
Proven track record of success in new business development, preferably in mid-market sales.
Experience selling to eCommerce and Retail audiences, particularly to decision-makers in merchandising, trading, category management, and digital commerce.
Ability to manage the entire sales process, including prospecting, relationship-building, and closing.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills with a consultative sales approach.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance and forecast sales outcomes.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience with eCommerce technology platforms, digital marketing, or retail analytics solutions.
Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Challenger, or Solution Selling.
Strong presentation skills and experience selling to cross-functional teams.
Proven success in consistently exceeding quota in a high-growth environment.
