Summary:
The Senior Associate Brand Manager (ABM)/Sr ABM will have primary responsibility for specific projects and activities in support of the fast growing Salty Snacks Multipacks business. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, this Sr ABM will identify opportunities and lead commercialization of ideas supporting business objectives. This role requires leading internal, cross-functional teams as well as external agencies to deliver projects ensuring team objectives and financial goals are delivered.
The individual in this position supports the development of strategic, consumer-based initiatives for the Enterprise Multipack team, with a focus on Salty BU multipacks as well as items that leverage our full enterprise brands and capabilities. They must have strong analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical and market insights into clear strategies for delivering 3Y objectives for the Enterprise Multipacks portfolio. Projects may include new products, promotion, product changes, pricing, retail programs, advertising, and other key programs that could affect the short and long-term profitability and share position. Individuals must have a keen view of the external environment including general trends impacting the business, competitive assessments, and an understanding of both consumers and customers.
This individual will support strategy development and help address trends/unmet consumer needs, and cross category white-space opportunities, to achieve company growth and profit targets. This includes the identification and assessment of strategic opportunity areas and development of new initiatives, from discovery and ideation, through to commercialization. They will also help identify internal organizational optimizations to build this platform for long-term success.
Responsibilities:
• Strategic, annual, and marketing planning and periodic re-planning on the business
• Leadership of activities inside and outside the company that will result in successful implementation of marketing plans
• Lead commercialization of brand-owned projects through stage gate process, from idea to launch, partnering with cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders
• Analysis of the business results or directing such analysis
• Deep knowledge of the commercial, operational, and financial dimensions of the business
• Partnership with consumer insights to support strategy development through identification of white-space opportunities and analysis of trends/unmet consumer needs
• External and internal assessments of the business environment, competitors, customers, market trends, and implications to the particular area of responsibility
• Personal training and development
Qualifications(Knowledge, Skills, Education, Experience, etc.):
• 3+ years experience in Marketing, Sales, Strategy and / or General Management
• Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA or equivalent marketplace experience preferred
• Self-starter with high degree of personal initiative
• Strong project and timeline management skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Outstanding strategic thinking and analytical abilities
• Strong verbal and written communicator to wide breadth of audiences
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving, and collaborative entrepreneurial environment .
