At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team in Brazil. You will contribute to innovative projects in a collaborative, transforming, and multicultural environment.


Position Overview


As a Senior Java Backend Developer, you will lead the design and development of scalable cloud-based solutions, employing Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with client expectations, driving innovation and transformation powered by artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, and deploy software applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and technical solutions.
  • Work on Microservices architecture and create efficient RESTful APIs.
  • Maintain and improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of learning and collaboration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to enhance application functionality.
  • Stay updated with industry trends to introduce best practices in backend development.

    • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Must-have Skills:
  • Proficiency in Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Required English level: B2.

  • Nice-to-have Skills:
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
